DJI Focus Pro Grip
DJI designed the DJI Focus Pro Grip to give solo cinematographers professional-grade lens control without needing a full crew. First, the grip features a built-in 2.5-hour battery system that powers both the LiDAR and the Focus Motor simultaneously. Furthermore, it is equipped with a 1.8-inch full-color touchscreen. As a result, you can adjust parameters, calibrate lenses, and monitor the LiDAR’s depth-map view directly from the handle. This makes it a revolutionary tool for filmmakers shooting handheld or with compact cage rigs.
In addition, the grip provides an intuitive, tactile experience for manual lens operation. Specifically, it features a magnetic damping front dial that can be assigned to focus or zoom. Moreover, it supports the innovative AMF (Automated Manual Focus) mode, allowing the dial to rotate physically in sync with the autofocus logic. Ultimately, the grip connects via a NATO mount, allowing it to be attached to either side of a camera cage. Therefore, the Focus Pro Grip is the definitive power and control hub for high-end solo production.
Key Features & Highlights
-
1.8-inch Color Touchscreen: Access motor settings and LiDAR views without an external monitor. Accordingly, you can switch between saved lens profiles and adjust torque levels with a few taps.
-
2.5-Hour System Power: Power your entire focus ecosystem from a single swappable battery. Hence, you can maintain a streamlined, cable-free camera build for several hours of active shooting.
-
Magnetic Damping Front Dial: Experience smooth, high-precision control with adjustable resistance. Furthermore, the dial provides tactile feedback that mimics the feel of professional cinema glass.
-
AMF Mode Integration: Monitor the autofocus logic through the physical movement of the dial. Consequently, you can “feel” the focus point and instantly override it for creative manual control.
-
15-Lens Data Storage: Save calibration data for up to 15 different manual lenses. Meanwhile, the one-button auto-calibration ensures you are ready to shoot seconds after a lens swap.
-
Bluetooth Start/Stop Recording: Control your camera’s shutter wirelessly through the grip’s dedicated button. As a result, you never have to reach for the camera body while maintaining your grip.
-
Versatile NATO Mounting: Attach the grip to the left or right side of any standard camera cage. Specifically, the modular design ensures compatibility with a wide range of handheld and gimbal setups.
-
USB-C Fast Charging: Replenish the internal battery quickly using 18W PD fast-charging technology. Therefore, short breaks between scenes are enough to keep your focus system running all day
